There are many opportunities for your child to become involved in extra-curricular activities. Our Lady Help of Christians has representative teams in swimming, athletics, cross country, soccer, rugby league and netball.  Children also have the opportunity to qualify for Mackillop (Diocesan representative) teams in several different sports.

Find out more about the co-curricular activities available for students at our Co-Curricular Opportunities page.

At Our Lady Help of Christians, we believe that all members of the community have the right to a learning and working environment free from intimidation, humiliation and harm. We all share a responsibility to create a culture of caring which will not tolerate bullying. We believe that bullying must be taken seriously and is not acceptable in any form. In witnessing Christian values we reject ideas, beliefs and behaviours, which marginalised or victimised people. The school has developed a comprehensive set of policies and procedures to manage allegations of bullying and harassment.

The school canteen operates daily offering lunch and snack options.  We adhere to the NSW Healthy Canteen guide.  Children who wish to order lunch need to write their name, class and order on a paper bag with the money enclosed.  Orders are collected by the class teachers each morning and sent to the canteen.

Uniforms can be purchased from Lowes, at Macarthur Square Shopping Centre, Cnr. Gilchrist Drive & Kellicar Road, Ambarvale.  Ph:  4626 3391.

Hats and bags are only available from the school office at a cost of $20.00 and $45.00 respectively.

The Second Hand Uniform Shop is open every Wednesday of the month from 8.20am - 8.40am.

Please note: Given our commitment to safeguarding children, volunteers will first need to organise a Working With Children Check (WWCC) – information and forms can be found on the CEDoW website.

All parents and families are also invited to become involved with our Parents and Friends (P&F) Association, who work collaboratively with the school and parish about matters that affect your child at school, as well as general issues about school life including social events, fundraising and community building.
